Will fuel consumption increase after chip tuning?

With calm, everyday driving, fuel consumption typically decreases by 0.5–1.0 l/100 km because the engine produces more torque at lower RPM and the transmission shifts to higher gears sooner. Under wide-open throttle, fuel consumption will be proportional to the power demanded.

Won't the engine and gearbox wear out faster?

No. A high-quality Stage 1 unlocks the safety reserves built in by the manufacturer (engines are often detuned for tax or marketing reasons). We never exceed allowable cylinder peak pressures or transmission torque limits.

How does chip tuning affect CSDD technical inspection?

CSDD technical inspection tests exhaust smoke opacity and scans for ECU fault codes. A properly calibrated Stage 1 ensures complete fuel combustion, allowing the vehicle to pass inspection without issues.
